Marco Bucci launches Liguria Insieme civic movement

Marco Bucci, President of the Liguria Region, has launched a new civic movement called ‘Liguria Insieme’. During the movement's first convention, Bucci emphasized that the organization will remain independent of individual figures and stated that he will not personally join the movement.

Bucci explained that the movement is designed to aggregate individuals who do not wish to join traditional political parties but want to collaborate on regional development and improving quality of life. He noted that while political parties are indispensable, they often focus on specific ideological segments, whereas this civic movement aims to address broader interests regardless of political ideology.

The movement's symbol will be present in upcoming administrative elections in Liguria. While current council groups will maintain their original names to respect their election mandates, they are expected to transition to the new movement name in future elections. Bucci also expressed support for movement members potentially running in future national political elections.
