Marco Bucci undergoes successful facial reconstruction surgery

Marco Bucci, the President of the Liguria Region, has successfully undergone a maxillofacial skin reconstruction surgery at the Galliera Hospital in Genoa. The procedure was required following the removal of a basalioma, a type of skin tumor, from his nose last week.

The surgery was performed by a medical team including Professor Giuseppe Signorini, Doctor Paolo Iacoviello, and Professor Cesare Massone. Bucci reported that the operation was successful and expressed his gratitude to the medical staff for their professionalism and competence.

Bucci remains hospitalized for observation but is reported to be in good health. He is expected to be discharged shortly and intends to return to his official duties soon.
