Marco Ghiotto presents novel set in Montecassino Abbey
As part of the “Laboratori di Lettura – Ieri, oggi e domani” literary series, the Palazzo della Cultura in Cassino hosted a presentation for Marco Ghiotto’s novel, “Il fantasma di Montecassino”.
Set in the summer of 1943 at the Montecassino Abbey, the story is told from the perspective of Grazia, a young novice tasked with cataloging artworks that the Nazis appeared to be destined for the Vatican. The event, which included a dialogue between Ghiotto and Maria Rosa D’Alia, is part of the “Cultura Educazione Inclusione” project promoted by the Cooperativa Sociale Autentica in collaboration with the Municipality of Cassino and funded by the Lazio Region.
