Marco Goldin launches Monet 100 cultural project
Marco Goldin has introduced the ‘Monet 100’ project to commemorate the centenary of Claude Monet’s death. The initiative centers on a theatrical production titled ‘Monet. Una vita a colori’ (Monet. A Life in Color), which features Goldin alongside pianist Remo Anzovino and cellist/vocalist Daniela Savoldi.
The performance utilizes advanced technology, including rotating platforms and curved LED walls, set against a 12x7 meter background screen to create an immersive experience. The production is touring Italian theaters, including an upcoming performance at the Teatro Massimo in Pescara.
To expand the project’s scope, Goldin has released a book titled ‘Storia di Monet’ published by La nave di Teseo. Additionally, Remo Anzovino has released an album of original music from the show via Universal Music Italia / Decca Italia, accompanied by sheet music published by Casa Ricordi.
