Marco Mengoni's 'Guerriero' Contest Holds Fourth Edition in Napoli

The fourth edition of the "Guerriero – Il Contest" will take place on 1 August 2026 in Piazza Principe, Napoli. Organized by the municipality of Ronciglione, the event celebrates the music and spirit of Italian singer‑songwriter Marco Mengoni and offers a platform for young singers.

Artistic director Francesco Laurenti, together with co‑director Martina Chiossi, will host the show. Prizes crafted by master artist Stefano Cianti will be awarded in three categories – Junior, Over and Inediti. Returning participants such as the Miami Blue, Alice Ghione and Nicolò Pucci, who won in the previous edition, are slated to perform. The contest also features the debut of its official anthem “Una stella in più”, written by Costanza Luzzitelli and performed by past contestants.

The event aims to spotlight emerging talent, providing contestants with exposure and artistic growth opportunities while honoring the legacy of the contest’s inaugural winner, Nicolò Filippucci, who later succeeded at the Sanremo Festival.
