Marco Nanini honored for 60-year career on TV Brasil

TV Brasil is hosting a special edition of the program ‘Sem Censura’ to honor actor Marco Nanini and his 60-year career in television, theater, and cinema. Hosted by Cissa Guimarães, the episode features a conversation regarding Nanini’s most significant roles, including his portrayal of Lineu in ‘A Grande Família’ and his work in the telenovela ‘Êta Mundo Bom!’.

The tribute also covers his theatrical achievements, such as the 1986 production ‘O Mistério de Irma Vap’ alongside Ney Latorraca, and his contributions to film. Nanini will discuss his approach to character construction, emphasizing the importance of maintaining humanity in even the most caricatured roles and the use of silence in performance.

The program includes contributions from journalist Pedro Neves, producer Fernando Libonati, and debater Ernesto Xavier. Nanini is currently performing in the play ‘Fim de Partida’, a Samuel Beckett work directed by Rodrigo Portella.
