Marco Odermatt prepares for 200th World Cup race

Swiss alpine skier Marco Odermatt is set to begin his tenth World Cup season, with the upcoming giant slalom in Sölden marking his 200th top-level race. The 29-year-old has achieved 102 podium finishes and 54 victories to date. One more win would allow him to equal the record held by Vreni Schneider.

In recent training sessions, Fadri Janutin has drawn significant attention for his performance in giant slalom drills alongside Odermatt. Janutin, a former junior world championship silver medalist, has received praise from Olympic champion Beat Feuz and head coach Tom Stauffer following impressive training results in Chile.
