Marco Palomba of Società Ciclistica Padovani won the 54th edition of the Gran Premio Industria, Commercio e Artigianato Carnaghese – Trofeo Pino Introzzi. The national-level race for Elite and Under 23 categories took place on the roads of Varese.
The competition featured 164 participants from 30 different clubs. The course consisted of ten laps around the 17-kilometer Circuito del Seprio, totaling 170 kilometers. After several attacking moves throughout the race, a small group led the field toward the end. Palomba secured a clear victory on the final climb leading to the straightaway, finishing ahead of Marco Fermanelli of Vega Vitalcare Dynatek and Andrea Cantoni of MG K Vis.
