Marco Penge has established a two-shot lead heading into the weekend at the Husqvarna British Masters. Following a weather-affected day at The Belfry that required players to complete a marathon 32 holes, Penge sits at 11 under par.

His performance included a bogey-free 69 in the morning followed by a surge in the second round, highlighted by an eagle on the tenth hole. New Zealand’s Daniel Hillier, the 2023 champion, remains his closest challenger. Other competitors in contention include South Africa’s Shaun Norris, England’s Matthew Jordan, and Spain’s Nacho Elvira.

Storms caused significant delays throughout the week, totaling over nine hours of lost play. Due to these interruptions, no players had completed their second round by the end of the day, with half the field still waiting to start.
