Marco Polo Del Nero and Clara Brasil announce engagement

Marco Polo Del Nero, the former president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, and Clara Brasil have announced their engagement. The couple, who have been together since 2019, reportedly plan to marry in early 2027.

Clara Brasil, a 32-year-old TV personality and businesswoman, faces public scrutiny due to the 53-year age gap between her and the 85-year-old Del Nero. Brasil has addressed the criticism, stating that she is focused on her own happiness and is not affected by the opinions of others. She previously noted that she was attracted to Del Nero's intelligence and has felt personal pressure to set a wedding date, as the couple has been in a relationship for several years.
