Marco Rizzo launches anti‑EU, anti‑NATO “Italy Neutral” campaign

Leader of the party Democrazia Sovrana e Popolare, Marco Rizzo, began the “Italia Neutrale” project with public meetings in Campania – on July 8 at the Terrazze di Virgilio in Naples and on July 9 at the Circolo della Stampa in Avellino. The initiative calls for Italy to leave the European Union and NATO, adopt a permanent policy of neutrality, and amend article 11 of the Constitution to embed this stance.

Rizzo proposes an anti‑establishment front that unites small‑ and medium‑size entrepreneurs, artisans and self‑employed workers with salaried employees and industrial labourers, targeting what he describes as “big finance” and “great capital.” He also advocates a balanced foreign‑policy approach, maintaining privileged ties with the United States and Russia while expanding relations with China, India, Brazil, Argentina and other European nations. The campaign includes a signature collection to support a popular legislative proposal for the constitutional change.
