Marco Schiavina, creator of ‘Turisti per caso’, dies at 71

Marco Schiavina, a prominent figure in Italian cultural and television production known as ‘Orso’, has died suddenly at the age of 71. He was one of the creators of the cult television program ‘Turisti per caso’.

Schiavina had a long career in media, collaborating with various television and radio programs since 1980. In addition to his media work, he served as the artistic director of the municipal theater in San Giovanni in Persiceto starting in 1989. He was also the creator of the Film&Film film festival and numerous other cinematic initiatives.

The administration of San Giovanni in Persiceto expressed deep sorrow over his passing, noting his significant impact on the local cultural landscape.
