Marco Trillini swims across the Bosphorus for disability awareness

Marco Trillini, a swimming instructor from Fidardo, Italy, successfully completed a 6.5-kilometer swim across the Bosphorus from Asia to Europe. Trillini completed the crossing in 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 26 seconds.

The swim was performed to support friends and clients with disabilities at the Papa Giovanni XXIII Center, where Trillini works. The endeavor was supported by a crowdfunding campaign on the ‘Rete del dono’ platform to benefit the center. Trillini noted that the swim was dedicated to those who face daily physical and cultural barriers.
