Marconi Perillo receives support from Goiás police and firefighter associations

Marconi Perillo, a candidate for the governorship of Goiás, has received formal support from the Association of Pensioners of the Police and Military Firefighters of Goiás (APPB) and the Association of Corporals and Soldiers (ACS).

During a meeting with representatives, Perillo outlined several proposals aimed at active and retired security professionals. Key commitments include the regularization and payment of immediate promotions for inactive members, the elimination of a 14.25% fee charged to retired civil servants, and the potential transfer of the Goiásprev payroll for inactive members to the direct management of the Military Police and Firefighters.

Perillo also addressed the management of Ipasgo, promising to reorganize its finances and return administration to public servants. Regarding public security, he noted that the state currently has approximately 4,000 fewer police officers than in 2018 and that roughly 100 municipalities lack police presence. To address this, he proposed conducting public exams, creating new battalions, and offering gratifications to veterans who choose to return to active duty.
