Marcos Beltrão proposes South Coast Regional Hospital in Alagoas

During a political event in the Pindorama district of Coruripe, state deputy candidate Marcos Beltrão proposed the construction of a Regional Hospital for the South Coast and Lower São Francisco regions of Alagoas. The proposal was presented to Renan Filho, a candidate for the governorship of Alagoas.

Beltrão criticized current healthcare models in the region, alleging that access to medical services has been influenced by political affiliations. He specifically claimed that certain private facilities in Coruripe have conditioned medical regulation and hospital vacancies on political support. Beltrão stated his intention to allocate parliamentary amendments to support the implementation and strengthening of a new regional hospital unit if elected.
