Marcos Elvis, famous Elvis Presley impersonator, dies at 59

Marcos Sánchez Cruzado Bellot, widely known as ‘El Elvis de La Mancha’, has passed away at the age of 59. A resident of Pedro Muñoz in Ciudad Real, Spain, Bellot dedicated much of his life to performing as an Elvis Presley impersonator.

His career involved traveling across various stages in Spain, characterized by his signature pompadour, themed costumes, and interactive performances. His passion for the King of Rock and Roll even led him to perform in Memphis, Tennessee. In his hometown, he and his wife, Mónica, maintained a home inspired by Graceland, filled with memorabilia that drew national media attention.

Bellot was also a well-known figure in the motorcycle community. Members of the Mancha Custom Club of Socuéllamos honored him with a ceremonial procession to the cemetery. His death follows a period of health issues that had recently forced him to cancel scheduled performances.
