Vasco da Gama signs Bruno Duarte and hosts SAF bidder Marcos Lamacchia

Vasco da Gama has officially announced the signing of 30-year-old striker Bruno Duarte. The player, who joins from Serbian club Estrela Vermelha, has signed a contract through December 2028. Duarte, wearing number 19, described himself as a natural center-forward but noted his ability to play across all attacking positions. He is expected to make his debut in the upcoming match against Fluminense.

Separately, businessman Marcos Lamacchia, who is in advanced negotiations to purchase Vasco's SAF (Sociedade Anônima do Futebol), attended a recent home match against Cruzeiro at São Januário. Lamacchia toured the facilities and met with club officials and players. Goalkeeper Léo Jardim noted that while Lamacchia visited the locker room to offer congratulations after the 3-1 victory, the club's president, Pedrinho, has worked to shield the squad from the ongoing negotiations to ensure they remain focused on footballing commitments.
