Marcos Matsunaga estate redeems investments and closes bank account

The estate of Marcos Matsunaga, represented by his father Mitsuo Matsunaga, has successfully redeemed investments and closed a bank account linked to the businessman's assets. These financial movements follow the unarchiving of the probate process earlier this year.

Under judicial authorization, the estate was permitted to withdraw funds held in court deposits and close a Santander account located in the Vila Leopoldina district of São Paulo. The court also authorized the redemption of various investment funds. Following the transactions, the administrator submitted an accounting of the transfers, which a judge deemed regular. Consequently, the judge ordered the case, which is handled by the Lapa Family and Succession Court, to be archived again. Due to judicial secrecy, the specific values of the investments and transferred resources have not been disclosed.
