Marcus Ericsson stays with Andretti Global for 2027 IndyCar season

Andretti Global announced that Swedish driver Marcus Ericsson will continue with the team for the 2027 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season. Ericsson, who joined Andretti in 2024, has delivered a strong 2026 campaign with six top‑10 finishes, a podium at World Wide Technology Raceway and 132 laps led, placing him ninth in the points standings with two‑thirds of the season completed.

The team confirmed that Ericsson will remain alongside fellow drivers Will Power and Kyle Kirkwood for 2027. President Jill Gregory said the extension supports the program’s goal of building consistency, while Ericsson expressed excitement, noting the progress made this year and his gratitude to the team for their trust.
