Marcus Foster arrives in Thessaloniki to join PAOK
American guard Marcus Foster has arrived in Thessaloniki to join PAOK's preparations for the upcoming basketball season. Foster expressed enthusiasm about returning to Greece, a country where he and his family hold many memories.
Discussing the team's ambitions, Foster stated that the current roster makes winning trophies a realistic goal for the organization. He emphasized the importance of endurance throughout a long season, noting that championships are won in April and May rather than in the early months of November or December. He specifically highlighted the need to remain competitive through the EuroCup playoffs.
The 31-year-old veteran brings significant experience to PAOK's backcourt, having previously played in the Greek league for Panathinaikos and Promitheas Patras. His recent achievements include winning the EuroCup with Hapoel Tel Aviv and being named the Finals MVP of the Lithuanian league with Rytas Vilnius.
