Marcus Garvey Park to host fourth annual “We’re Outside” art exhibition

The fourth annual “We’re Outside” exhibition will take place on August 29 at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem. The event, which transforms the park's Northwest Lawn into an open-air gallery, coincides with the 34th annual Charlie Parker Jazz Festival.

Presented by the Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association in partnership with Heath Gallery, the free exhibition features 28 contemporary artists. The initiative aims to bring art to audiences who may not typically visit traditional galleries. The event includes 14 artist canopies and a contemporary self-portrait workshop led by teaching artist Élan Cadiz.
