Marcus Mariota leads Washington Commanders in first start against Seahawks

Marcus Mariota delivered a significant performance for the Washington Commanders during his first start of the NFL season in week three against the Seattle Seahawks. Stepping in for Jayden Daniels, who suffered an elbow injury, Mariota led the team through several key scoring drives.

Mariota facilitated an early lead with a six-yard pass to Rachaad White and later connected with Treylon Burks for a touchdown. He also threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Terry McLaurin. The Commanders' defense supported the offense with multiple takeaways, including a fumble recovery and an interception, helping Washington maintain momentum against the defending Super Bowl champions.
