Marcus Miller announces April 2027 Australian tour

Five-time Grammy Award winner Marcus Miller has announced a five-date national headline tour of Australia scheduled for April 2027. The tour will feature performances in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.

Miller, a renowned bassist, composer, and producer, will focus on his own music and extensive catalogue spanning over four decades of jazz, funk, soul, and R&B. This solo tour follows his 2024 appearance at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, where he performed alongside Herbie Hancock.

Throughout his career, Miller has been a significant creative force, notably serving as a principal songwriter and producer for Miles Davis on albums such as ‘Tutu’. His professional history also includes extensive work with artists like Luther Vandross and Aretha Franklin.
