Marcus Rashford faces criticism over Manchester United form

Football pundits have criticized Marcus Rashford’s recent performances and mentality following his return to Manchester United. After spending 18 months on loan at Barcelona, the 28-year-old winger has struggled to make a significant impact under manager Michael Carrick.

Michael Owen expressed concerns regarding Rashford’s body language, describing him as looking “glum” and suggesting he may not be enjoying his football. Owen noted that Rashford’s position in the attacking lineup appears vulnerable and suggested he could soon lose his starting place.

Similarly, Troy Deeney and Simon Jordan criticized Manchester United’s co-owners, INEOS, for failing to sell the winger during the summer transfer window. While Barcelona had the option to make his loan permanent for £26 million, they opted to sign other players instead. Rashford has made six appearances so far this season, including four Premier League starts.
