Manchester United to keep Marcus Rashford after release clause expires

Manchester United have confirmed that striker Marcus Rashford will remain with the club for the upcoming pre‑season after his £40 million release clause expired. The England forward spent last season on loan at Barcelona, where the option to buy was not exercised, leaving him in transfer limbo.

New permanent manager Michael Carrick is reported to be open to reintegrating Rashford into the squad, and the player is expected to join United’s training camp in Finland following England’s World Cup campaign. While several clubs have shown interest, Rashford has turned down offers, and no concrete deal has been reached.
