Marcy Mueller, longtime Sears analyst, dies at 67 in San Antonio

Marcella Marie “Marcy” Mueller (née Smith), born October 20, 1958, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at her home in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by family. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, attended Texas A&I University, San Antonio College and Park University, and married William “Stony” Mueller in 1977. For nearly five decades she was a devoted wife, mother of three, and grandmother of four.

Professionally, Mueller spent many years at Sears Holdings Corporation, rising to the role of Process Improvement Analyst. Colleagues noted her dedication, tenacity and positive outlook. Outside work she enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting and family activities. She is survived by husband Stony Mueller, children David, Monica and Christopher, grandchildren Dawson, Adalyn, Allison and Alyssa, brother Don Smith Jr., mother Tina Smith and a Boston Terrier named Bella.
