Fans of Mardin 1969 Spor have announced they will file criminal complaints against Kayserispor supporters following incidents during a Trendyol 1. Lig match.

Legal representative Gurbet Bilbay stated that the legal process will address allegations of insults, property damage to state-owned stadium seats, and damage to private vehicles caused by thrown objects. Bilbay emphasized that the goal is not to promote football violence but to seek criminal penalties for intentional injury, insults, and damage to property.

Supporter Emrullah Başçı claimed that tensions began a day before the match, alleging that Kayserispor groups attempted to attack civilians near 15 Temmuz Şehitler Park, leading to scuffles that required police intervention. He noted that while initial interactions between the groups were friendly, the situation escalated into verbal arguments and provocative behavior during the game.
