Marechal Cândido Rondon: Two attempted vehicle thefts reported

Two attempted vehicle thefts were reported in Marechal Cândido Rondon on Wednesday morning. In both incidents, perpetrators broke into the vehicles and tampered with the ignition systems, though the cars were not stolen.

The first incident occurred around 6:00 AM, where the driver's side door showed signs of forced entry and the dashboard was damaged with exposed wires. The second incident was reported around 8:00 AM by a caregiver who discovered her vehicle had been broken into while parked at her workplace. In this case, the driver's side handle was damaged and the ignition components were also violated.

The Military Police have advised victims to seek security camera footage from nearby properties to assist in identifying those responsible. Both cases have been referred to the Civil Police Department for investigation.
