Marek Ďaloga returns to HC Zvolen after eleven seasons in Czech Republic

Slovak defenseman Marek Ďaloga has returned to his home club, HC Zvolen, after spending eleven seasons playing in the Czech Republic. Despite receiving multiple offers from the Czech Extraliga and other European teams, Ďaloga chose to return to Slovakia to prioritize his family's stability, noting that moving his wife and son would have been difficult at this stage.

During his time in the Czech Republic, Ďaloga played for several prominent clubs, including Pardubice, Sparta Prague, Kometa Brno, and Třinec. He most recently played for Brno, where he helped the team secure a championship title.

As the new captain of Zvolen, Ďaloga aims to use his extensive experience to mentor the club's younger players. He will work under coach Marek Zadina, who previously served as an assistant coach for Třinec. Ďaloga emphasized that while the team's rebuilding process may take time, the goal is to help the club progress upward.
