Marek Badowski and Zuzanna Wielgos win WTT Feeder mixed doubles in Berlin

Polish table tennis players achieved significant success at the WTT Feeder tournament in Berlin. Marek Badowski and Zuzanna Wielgos secured the gold medal in the mixed doubles category after defeating fellow Poles Mateusz Zalewski and Aleksandra Michalak with a score of 3:1.

This victory marks the second WTT Feeder title for the Badowski/Wielgos duo, following a recent win in France. The win is expected to raise their world ranking by approximately 10 positions.

In the men's singles competition, Marek Badowski reached the semifinals, defeating players from the USA and Belgium before losing to South Korea's Kwon Hyuk in a close five-set match. Mateusz Zalewski and Aleksandra Michalak also performed well, reaching the mixed doubles final despite having to compete through the qualifying rounds for their first international appearance as a pair.
