Marek Fašiang discusses Slovak actor salaries

Actor Marek Fašiang has shared insights regarding the earnings of Slovak actors during an appearance on the Money Talk podcast with Milan Dubec. Fašiang noted a significant disparity between top-tier talent and average performers in the industry.

According to Fašiang, the most successful actors—accounting for approximately 10 to 20 individuals in Slovakia—can earn around 300,000 euros annually. This figure includes income from filming days and hosting duties, but excludes additional collaborations.

For the majority of actors, income is more modest and irregular. Daily fees for series projects typically range from 100 to 1,200 euros. Fašiang provided an example of a mid-level actor earning 400 euros per filming day, which could result in a monthly income of approximately 2,000 euros if they work five days per month. He emphasized that acting work is often inconsistent, with periods of inactivity between projects.
