Mareva Grabopski-Mitotaki appointed Distinguished Fellow at Columbia University

Mareva Grabopski-Mitotaki, wife of the Greek Prime Minister, has been appointed as a ‘Distinguished Fellow’ at Columbia University for the upcoming winter term. She will participate in the ‘Climate, Earth, and Society Distinguished Fellows Program’.

The role involves a variety of academic and professional activities through the university’s Climate School. These include organizing high-level meetings, collaborating with existing university centers, and engaging with the Global Impact Lab as an expert partner. Her responsibilities may also include interacting with students and faculty through roundtables, guest lectures, and public events. Depending on the specific scope of her work, she may also teach elective courses as an Adjunct Professor or engage in active research as an Adjunct Senior Research Scholar or Scientist.
