Marfin case defendant issues letter from prison denying charges
A defendant detained in connection with the Marfin case has issued a public letter from Malandrino Prison, denying all charges related to the 2010 arson. The individual, identified as Kostas, describes his arrest by masked officers and his subsequent detention.
In the letter, he claims that the police narrative is constructed using anonymous emails and accuses authorities of prioritizing political ambitions and career advancement over justice. He further alleges that during his detention, he was repeatedly taken for interrogation by homicide officials and pressured to identify individuals responsible for throwing Molotov cocktails at the bank.
Kostas expressed solidarity with his co-defendants, Thymios and Eleni, while criticizing the investigative methods used by the authorities.
