Margareth Serrão defends aesthetic choices and style

Margareth Serrão, a 60-year-old entrepreneur and mother of influencer Virginia Fonseca, has addressed online criticism regarding her appearance and fashion choices. During the doc-reality series ‘Poderosas do Cerrado’ on GNT, Serrão spoke out against ‘hate’ comments that label her as an ‘old woman trying to be young’ or criticize her for wearing youthful clothing.

Serrão emphasized her right to self-care and personal style, stating that she intends to live her 60s actively and well-groomed. She noted that much of the criticism she receives regarding wrinkles and skin texture comes from other women.

In addition to discussing her style, Serrão revealed that she underwent several surgical procedures in March, including an abdominoplasty, liposuction, and breast implants. She expressed interest in undergoing a total facelift later in 2024, pending medical clearance.
