Margareth Serrão denies financially supporting romantic partners

Margareth Serrão, mother of influencer Virgínia Fonseca, has addressed rumors regarding her financial involvement in past and present romantic relationships. In recent interviews, Serrão denied allegations that she has ever financially supported a partner, specifically refuting claims that a former boyfriend was a “gigolô” (pimp/gold digger).

Serrão stated that she has never even paid for a bottle of water during outings or trips with partners. She emphasized the importance of female financial autonomy, noting that she raised her children to never depend on men to ensure they feel empowered and valued.

Serrão is currently in a relationship with singer Danilo Sanfoneiro. Sanfoneiro has previously denied similar rumors, asserting that he works hard and does not require financial assistance from her.
