Margarita de la Fuente joins Badajoz City Council

Margarita de la Fuente has officially taken office as a new councillor for the PSOE in the Badajoz City Council. She succeeds Ricardo Cabezas Martín, who resigned from the Municipal Socialist Group.

During the ordinary plenary session in October, De la Fuente swore her oath to the Spanish Constitution before Mayor Ignacio Gragera. Although she had not originally planned to return to the forefront of municipal politics, she accepted the position to support the opposition group during the final stretch of the current legislature.
