Margarita González Saravia launches new Ruta Zapata phase in Morelos

During the 147th anniversary of Emiliano Zapata's birth, Morelos Governor Margarita González Saravia launched a new phase of the 'Ruta Zapata' in Anenecuilco. The initiative included the inauguration of two exhibitions at the Museo Casa Zapata designed to preserve and disseminate the historical and cultural heritage associated with the revolutionary leader.

The exhibitions include “En Morelos hasta las piedras son zapatistas,” featuring 79 contemporary photographs of Zapata's presence in popular culture, and the Lucino Luna Room, which houses pre-Hispanic objects. The project is a collaborative effort involving the Secretariat of Culture, INAH, El Colegio de Morelos, and Federal Culture.

In her address, Governor González Saravia called for political congruence, urging public servants to prioritize social justice and the well-being of vulnerable sectors over individual interests. She also reaffirmed that the agricultural sector will remain a priority in her administration, with plans to provide direct support to producers to strengthen the rural economy.
