Margaritaville at Sea expands Caribbean presence with inaugural Aruba visit

Margaritaville at Sea celebrated the inaugural visit of the Margaritaville at Sea Islander to Aruba on September 9, 2026. The arrival was marked by a traditional plaque exchange between representatives from the Aruba Tourism Authority, Aruba Ports Authority NV, and SEL Maduro & Sons to symbolize partnership and friendship.

The Islander, which underwent extensive transformation before entering service in 2024, carried approximately 2,650 visitors to Aruba. The vessel features 12 passenger decks, over 1,100 cabins, 12 restaurants, 13 bars and lounges, three pools, a casino, a spa, and a fitness center. The ship also incorporates environmental initiatives, such as a biodigester to process organic food waste.

Additionally, the cruise line announced that its newest and largest ship, the Beachcomber, is scheduled to begin sailing from Galveston, Texas, in October 2027. This vessel will offer four- to seven-night itineraries to various destinations, including Aruba, Curaçao, Key West, Jamaica, and Veracruz, Mexico.
