Margaritis Schoinas to lead agricultural policy talks in Thessaloniki

Greek Minister of Rural Development and Food, Margaritis Schoinas, will visit Thessaloniki to lead discussions regarding the future of the country's primary sector and the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

A central event is the 4th session of the National Dialogue for the new CAP, scheduled for Friday, September 4, at the American Agricultural School. The session aims to shape Greek positions for the post-2027 period through dialogue with producers and agricultural stakeholders. Key topics include securing necessary resources and ensuring the policy meets the practical needs of Greek farming and livestock sectors.

On Saturday, September 5, the Minister will inaugurate the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Fund. This new financial tool is designed to fund investments and support the future of Greek agriculture.
