Margaritone-Vasari Institute holds book delivery for goldsmithing students
At the Margaritone-Vasari Institute in Arezzo, Councilor Lucia Tanti participated in a traditional ceremony to deliver books to first, second, and third-year students specializing in goldsmithing.
School Director Renzo Izzi emphasized that the professional school provides a serious educational path that balances technical subjects with cultural instruction. He noted that the goldsmithing track is strategic due to its connections to the fashion and luxury sectors. Entrepreneur Gabriele Veneri was recognized as a long-term supporter, providing internships and donating books to alleviate the financial burden on families.
Councilor Tanti highlighted the strategic importance of her new role, which combines oversight of the goldsmithing sector with education, training, and university affairs. She stated that despite current industry challenges, Arezzo remains Europe’s largest goldsmithing district and intends to promote the institute, which is considered unique in Italy.
