Margherita Vicario releases new single ‘Ho chiesto aiuto’

Margherita Vicario has announced the release of her new single, ‘Ho chiesto aiuto’, marking her return to music three years after her last discographic project, ‘Showtime’. The song explores themes of personal fragility, emotional pain, and the transition from enduring suffering in solitude to recognizing the necessity of seeking help from others.

The track features gospel-style choral elements that shift the narrative from an intimate personal account to a collective experience. Accompanying the single is a music video written and directed by Vicario, which examines emotional vulnerabilities across different generations.

Academic analysis of the lyrics highlights the song's focus on the concept of ‘affidamento’—the ability to recognize one's own limits and rely on others. The lyrical content is noted for its semantic density and its departure from the artist's previous expressive choices.
