Margot Robbie and Jason Blum join Cinema United leadership council

Margot Robbie and Jason Blum have joined the Filmmaker Leadership Council of Cinema United, formerly known as the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO). The council is a strategic group of producers and directors dedicated to championing the future of global cinema and the theatrical experience.

Robbie and Blum join existing council leaders Jerry Bruckheimer and Emma Thomas, along with charter members including Ryan Coogler, Brad Bird, Jason Reitman, and Celine Song. Michael O’Leary, president and CEO of Cinema United, described the new members as fierce advocates for movie theaters.

Robbie is currently producing an ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ prequel under her LuckyChap banner, while Blum serves as the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions.
