Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper film Ocean’s Eleven prequel in Paris

Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper have begun filming an unnamed prequel to the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ franchise in Paris. The film, written and directed by Cooper, will explore the origins of the character Danny Ocean by focusing on his parents, played by Robbie and Cooper.

The story is set against the backdrop of the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix, following a pair of elite con artists planning a major heist during the prestigious motor racing event. The production has been spotted filming at locations such as Place Vendôme.

The prequel is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on June 25, 2027. This project expands the cinematic universe of the heist franchise, which has historically generated over $1.4 billion at the global box office.
