Mari Hoshino receives marathon advice from Yu Yokoyama for charity run

Actress Mari Hoshino, the designated charity marathon runner for Nippon TV’s ‘24 Hour Television 49’, received advice and encouragement from last year’s runner, Yu Yokoyama of SUPER EIGHT. During a pre-program broadcast, Yokoyama shared practical tips based on his experience completing 105 kilometers, such as the importance of eating well and resting.

Hoshino expressed her determination to run for the ‘Increase ‘I Can Do It!’ Children’s Fund,’ a cause motivated by her daughter’s struggle with congenital myopathy. She aims to use her run to raise awareness and funds to help children overcome physical challenges and expand their possibilities. The program also highlighted the resilience of children working to improve their mobility through specialized equipment.
