Maria Antoná discusses new media role and health update

Greek presenter Maria Antoná has addressed several personal and professional developments in recent interviews. She discussed her transition from entertainment to news programming with her new role on MEGA Nonstop, alongside Zisis Mousios and Vasilis Tsekouras.

Antoná spoke out against criticism regarding her physical appearance, stating that commenting on a woman's clothing or appearance in 2026 is problematic and contradicts principles of equality and female solidarity. She also touched upon her professional relationship with Giorgos Liagas, noting that while they are partners, she maintains a professional approach to potential future collaborations.

Additionally, Antoná clarified recent rumors regarding her health. She revealed she was hospitalized following intense abdominal pain, likely due to a kidney colic, but emphasized that the situation was not as serious as suggested on social media and that she has since stabilized and returned to work.
