Maria Apostolaki criticizes Rafina-Pikermi Municipal Council

Independent municipal council member Maria Apostolaki has criticized the conduct of the Rafina-Pikermi Municipal Council following a recent session. Apostolaki explained her decision to declare her presence but refrain from voting on a request regarding entry and exit permits for a waste disposal company.

She stated that the proposal lacked sufficient information regarding its legality and that council members were forced to vote without necessary legal guidance. Apostolaki noted that the Mayor indicated she could not compel the municipality's legal advisor to attend sessions to answer council questions. Furthermore, she expressed disappointment regarding the atmosphere of the meetings, describing them as a 'ring of vulgar clashes and irony.'
