Maria Avram ends discussions regarding ‘Insula Iubirii’ controversy

Maria Avram has announced she will no longer engage in discussions regarding her participation in the reality show ‘Insula Iubirii’ in Thailand. After more than a year of facing accusations and insults, she issued a final statement to address the controversy.

Avram, who participated in the program alongside her husband Marius Avram, noted that the couple faced significant tension during filming after Marius approached another contestant, Oana Monea. Although they left the competition separately, the couple has since reconciled and is currently together.

In her statement, Avram defended her character, stating she prefers to be direct and vocal rather than maintaining a curated, perfect image. She expressed that while her bluntness may bother some, she refuses to pretend to be someone else. She also mentioned plans to share her full perspective on the experience during an upcoming podcast appearance.
