Maria Ioannidou addresses feud with Dimitris Papazoglou
Greek actress and choreographer Maria Ioannidou addressed recent controversies and potential career shifts during an interview on the television program ‘Happy Day’.
Responding to criticisms made by choreographer Dimitris Papazoglou regarding her dancing abilities, Ioannidou expressed strong disapproval, stating, “I would rather appear naked in Syntagma than collaborate with him.” She dismissed his comments and characterized his professional standing, noting that while he was a capable dancer, he did not reach the heights of figures like Nureyev.
Ioannidou also discussed the possibility of entering politics, noting that she has received several proposals. She stated that she possesses the necessary knowledge and reading to consider such a move, a sentiment supported by her partner, Dimitris.
Additionally, the actress touched upon her age and appearance, jokingly mentioning she would not rule out cosmetic procedures like a facelift, and offered her professional critique of Anna Vissi’s recent concert at OAKA, suggesting she could have choreographed the performance herself.
