Maria Ketikidou reflects on 33 years of ‘Großstadtrevier’

Actress Maria Ketikidou, who has played Harry Möller in the long-running German series ‘Großstadtrevier’ since 1993, reflected on the show’s history during a recent anniversary celebration in Hamburg.

Ketikidou noted the evolution of both the series and the city of Hamburg, observing that the city has become more modern and expensive compared to the era when filming began. She also highlighted technical shifts in production, moving from analog to digital filming and utilizing more modern facilities.

During the event, Ketikidou delivered a personal ‘letter to the precinct,’ where she paid emotional tribute to the late actor Jan Fedder, who played Dirk Matthies and was a central figure in the series for many years.
