Maria Menichetti appointed director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ast Fermo

Dr. Maria Menichetti has been appointed as the new director of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation unit at Ast Fermo. She was officially introduced to the press by General Director Roberto Grinta.

Menichetti, who has worked in the Fermo public health system since 2001, emphasized the importance of a continuous care network that integrates hospitals, local community centers, and home care. This model aims to provide 360-degree assistance for acute cases, post-discharge patients, and chronic conditions.

Looking forward, the department intends to strengthen its integration with socio-sanitary services to address the needs of an aging population. The unit also plans to expand its activities through the use of a swimming pool facility.
